Gibon
The Gibon series are series of electronic sirens from Slovak manufacturer Telegrafia a.s.
Originally intended for rural and smaller urban areas, as well as industrial application, these electronic sirens are considerd a stand-alone warning devices, and used as a part of mass warning systems. Much like the eRotor series from Technologie 2000, these sirens are compact, cost opimized units, fit as a direct replacement for older mechanical sirens. Like other elctronic sire units, Gibon devices come in multiple power series, and are equipped with all basic and advanced features, including back-up power batteries.
Gibon sirens were originally supplied with smaller horns, (similiar to the of the TESLA UEAJ-II older concept horns) having noticably narrower bodies, compared to the common, wider and larger horn speakers. However, they can be equipped with standart-size horn as well, making them, at first, more difficult to distinguis from the company's primary Pavian series. Gibon sirens can be recognized by their receiver antennas. Just like eRotors, these use ground plane antennas, instead of dipole ones.
