ECN sirens are high-performance sirens intended for complex mass warning systems, regional, municipal or large industrial complexes, with multiple series. These sirens are known for lighter body weight end higher temperature resistance, as well as for efficient amplifiers, compared for example to the MAESTRO or TESLA UEAJ sirens. Like other electronic sirens, ECNs can be activated locally or remotely, via BMIS, radio frequencies or GSM. ECN sirens are quite common in Czechia, and can be found especially in Prague, where there are large counts of such sirens, namely in the city center.

The siren comes in multiple series. Most commonly spotted series are the 600 and 1800 variants, although 1200 variant is also frequent. ECN 2400 variant is rare and ECN 3000s are believed to be found in foreign countries only. Custom variants are also less common, but are present. The sirens can be recognized by the specific horn layouts on the siren mast and the HÖRMANN logos on the sides of the aluminum horns.

ECN sirens belong to one of the first modern electronic sirens being installed in Czechia since the 1990s.
